That's how the gardening transforms everything into something positive

Alfred Austin once said “The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul”.

I couldn't agree more with his words. Everytime when I do the gardening, I compare it to a work to improve yourself. I might be very tired after my busy working day or I might be moody, somehow the gardening transforms everything into something positive. The act of the growing something green and alive is important.  My plants will look nicer and I will be more happy admiring them every day. The process itself helps to boost my mood.

What else I noticed - gardening gives you a chance to focus on something and put your mind to work with a goal and a certain task in mind.

Gardening can be a solo activity or an opportunity for bonding with your family and friends. When I was a kid, I loved to dig in the soil with my grandmother in her garden. I think those memories are the happiest that I ever had in early childhood.
