A conceptual project "Tunnel park with an open scene at Gaasperdammerweg in Amsterdam"

Will you expect to see a park with an open scene for street performances on the top of the road tunnel ?

"Why not?" - I said. "' Let’s do that.''

Imagine that you could start walking from the rooftop of the building, taking stairs to the ground level. So you would be able to see a few blooming shrubs and   green walls planted on wooden fences.  They will largely improve the soundscape environment as there is an road tunnel close by. The noise from the tunnel will be reduced further by the climbing vines.

On your right, you could see a small scene for performances made out of wood. There is also a pathway that invites you to take a walk. You could also take a seat on the stones which are specially shaped for that. Along with smoothly shaped benches this makes a view more natural. Sitting there people could enjoy street performances or just resting.   The winding pathway would lead you to the rest of the park.
