About me

Hello everybody,

my name is Victoria, I am a landscape designer and architect, a cheerful optimist, traveller and a big dreamer. I have been living in Amsterdam for 7 years and still enjoy this place very much.

When I was a child I enjoyed things like drawing, climbing trees, playing in dirt and helping my grandmother with her garden planting and harvesting. Time passed by, I grew up and went to the University to learn Architecture and found myself almost more interested in Landscape design and Greening. Then worked for a big gas and oil company, making a good career as an industrial landscape architect. Somehow I felt that I was not in the right place. Garden design was one of my biggest hobbies and I decided to make it my profession. My passion is creating stylish green spaces which improves the quality of people’s habitat. I believe our perception and response to our environment influences our mindset, behavior, and the world we live in. Beautiful blooming gardens are the source of a perfect mood, that is a place of the rest and distraction from everyday routine.

Now I am experienced garden designer who is really keen to help people with organizing their surroundings. I specialize in designing child-friendly and pets -friendly gardens. While designing gardens, I use non-toxic plants and natural materials to create a safe yet stylish green space for the most vulnerable and highly curious members of our families. I understand people's doubts, fears and needs when they want to change something in their living space and help them to come up with a suitable solution.

I am still learning, and I know that I have a lot to learn, for me that is important to challenge myself and try new things. Therefore, I often work under conceptual projects related to urban greening. It has been a long interesting journey of an industrial architect who turned into a professional garden designer.

And you know what I realized is that you will never be prepared for everything, just keep doing what brings you joy, learn fast and work hard. Do your best and you will succeed.

On my website you will find lots of information to get you started on your garden design, I will inspire you to try something new. I can't resist the temptation to share my thoughts on gardening, also my photos of traveling, discovering local plants and urban greening culture around the world.

Welcome and let’s start this journey together.
